Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk

For the last 3 weeks or so, I have had a wicked case of insomnia. I'm not stressed or ill. I just can't stop thinking.

Tonight's bout though, is more than likely due to the enormous cup of coffee that I got at 10 pm (poor choice, but I got it fo' free!). Anyways, I am now suffering the consequences in heavily partaking in a 7-ll latte. Now, I'm going to do a little recap of the hours in the wake of the coffee.

10-11 : started up this blog madness / facebooked

11-2:30: did french homework

2:30ish: panicked over missing thumb-drive and searched the club house

2:45-3:30: packed up winter clothes and reorganized my dresser

3:30-4: watched George Lopez

4ish- 5:30: read Palm Sunday by Vonnegut

5:30ish to present: doing this

7-11 is the devil's tool. French is going to suck extra hard tomorrow.

There was country music playing, but he don’t like it at all

Obviously, I'm real big into sharing links. I think that will be the premise of this blog. I'm just going to share things that I think are cool. I think I'm cool, maybe that's uncool to say, but I don't really care.

Anyways, I got this song fo' free. *Note: Most awesome music you can find free and legit.* As I've already mentioned, and will many more times, I love folk music. It's 90% of what I listen to, and this is real good folk.

The Wood Brothers - Postcards from Hell

Go Gorilla.

This is just some cool non-tradional advertising I came across tonight.

You know this had to be dirt cheap too.

All I wanted was a good song and a fair friend.

Listen to: Collette, by Langhorne Slim.

I'm living and dying for this song right now. You can download a sick live version of it fo' free from Daytrotter. In case you didn't know, Daytrotter is an online music zine that posts a lot of cool interviews with Indie artists. The best part about it, is that most of the interviews include like 4-6 live, or demo versions, of songs by the artist.

So, go to this link ::::::::

and download it. No excuses, it's free!

I choose you!

I am going d'krazious for these weird mutant animal babies! They're like Pokemon for grown-ups, or just for losers that wish they could still get away with displaying their Pokemon.
Anyways, I've always loved weird Japanese stuff. When I was 6, I used to blow my whole $6.00 allowance at the Sanrio store. So, good.
I want to catch em' all and have a creepy little mutant baby army for my desk!

You go, Glenn Coco.

Ok this is my second attempt at starting a blog. The first time was a private failure. Let's hope I can reign in my thoughts a little better this time.

During my first attempt, I wrote primarily about music, which was a terrible idea. I really only listen to folk music, which made a pretty dry and self-righteous blog ( but I guess blogging is pretty self-righteous by nature). Anyways, I'm more than likely still going to talk about music, but I'm going to talk about other stuff too. Oh, and I will start most sentences with conjunctions, and I will use far too many commas, and most of them incorrectly.
